Look at the sky today It feels so warm and bright Does it make you feel this way All snuggled in delight? I don't see a pretty sun But rather torching everyone And time is standing still So all I want to do is kill Some time I can't take this anymore (Oh no, I can't) I'm so tired of being bored (So bored) I swear (I swear) I'm bored I see everybody outside Playing with their giant robots (Without even a care) And I'm stuck inside Watching the missiles go by I don't see a pretty sun But rather torching everyone And time is standing still So all I want to do is kill Some time We'll take a rocket to the moon And come back with some astro cheese Open up a shop with you I don't want no frozen peas I really hate them 'cause they're cold (The microwave is broken!) No need to scold I can't wait until the end (Oh no, I can't) Hope my brain don't get the bends (Mmhmm) I swear (I swear) The end I'm still suffocating inside Thinking all the things I could do (With you) And I'm stuck inside Watching the missiles go by I don't see a pretty sun But rather torching everyone And time is standing still So all I want to do is kill Some time With you

Fiddeus Fil 02:46
Long ago There was a boy named Fidd Who lived upon a Sillesh hill He was loved by the people For his curly white hair And his laughing daffodil Fiddeus Was a fragile boy Looking for a place to land Fiddeus Was a fragile boy Taken away by the wind He could tell That they were sad Living without the sounds Of inspirational Harmonies Deep within the ground So he set out To make things right Leaving on his own Found a breeze Let himself take flight Floating far from home Where's he gonna land Where's gonna land, yeah Where's he gonna land Where's he gonna land Ooh Fiddeus Was the kind of boy That everyone thought was weird He would sing and dance To a natural beat No one else could hear Fiddeus Was a fragile boy Looking for a place to land Fiddeus Was a fragile boy Taken away by the wind Where's he gonna land Where's gonna land, yeah Where's he gonna land Where's he gonna land Ooh

Well, it appears There's no way out of here Oh, look at Yonfen's mandolin It seems to know to just where to go (Floating on it's own) Isn't that weird? It's a three-headed horse How do they get to anywhere? They must want to go separate ways (I don't think so They look like a solid team) Oh, where'd it go? Where's Yonfen's mandolin? It found a way out of the woods Oh, we're so glad to see the moon (Look at that hill) It's so jagged and so tall That it covers up the stars
6.
At the top of the hill There's a man And he'll help you if he can Oh, he'll help you if he can Oh, he'll help you if he can At the top of the hill There's a man And he'll help you understand Oh, he'll help you if he can He's the Snow King Do whatever he says If you try to fight back Then he'll have your heads And he'll help you if he can (Uh, represent) (Yeah) (Do it again) (Oh, yeah) He's sweeter than a cup of tea And smaller than a bumble bee And he'll help you if he can He's the Snow King And ruler of the world If you don't ask nice Then he'll eat your first born And he'll help you if he can (Straight G...)

Everybody seems to be afraid 'Cause I want no name Break apart from what we became It's the normal way Superman, get outta my way Got dreams to kill and bills to pay Got no time to be foolin' around Stay outta the clouds 'cause I'm chained to the ground (yes, I am) Give it to me one more time Give it to me one more time Give it to me one more time I say give it to me one more time Screw the man Don't need his life Don't need no job Don't need no wife Hanging out With Steve and Drew Takes my mind off of you (Who?) You lied to me And you don't care I'm sick of trying To get somewhere I can't go on With you on my mind So tell me why you want To waste my time You don't even look in my direction Or talk to me Oh, this ain't gonna work, darlin' Can't you see? I've tried too hard To change your mind And lost too much Of my good time Enjoy your life Without me 'Cause I am done With fantasy You won't even come to watch me, baby Sing you a song This ain't gonna work, darlin' Something's wrong Emotions pour And flood in me When you give me What I need I want to go back Back to that day When you held on To me that way You don't even look in my direction Or talk to me Oh, this ain't gonna work, darlin' Can't you see?

Sometimes we feel alone But feeling makes up the world I've got to do what's right It's what I feel deep inside All of the people Are counting on me All of the people Are counting on me I can't fail them I can't fail them I can't fail them now I can't fail them I can't fail them I can't fail them now Now

Leave it alone Leave it alone Leave it alone Why do you insist on hurting your make? She can tell she's damaged goods Her hidden flaws leave her what would have Been a joyous time Will she ever find true love She'll never find that I'm her love Leave it alone Leave it alone Leave it alone Oh, could you give it a break? She won't cut her zestful act In fear that we'll all know the fact she Tries so hard to live She don't want to be mundane She doesn't want to live the same I'm so alone She makes me want to Tear out all my hair My hair I'm so alone I try and try to grow But I'm still young She makes me young With her eyes She crafts a false identity With which she uses frequently To hide her truest self Will she ever find true love She'll never find that I'm her love I'm so alone She makes me want to Tear out all my hair My hair I'm so alone I try and try to grow But I'm still young She makes me young With her eyes

Cruel, cruel, irony Cruel, cruel, irony Cruel, cruel, irony I sit alone Waiting for an answer For God to tell me Who I need to be Life seems so bleak I'm quiet, yet I speak Questioning just Who I need to be She tells me I'm romantically amazing Yet, she can't hold on To what she needs She wanders in her sleep Kisses me so sweet Tells me that it all Was just a dream She reaches out For me to say the right thing That she just hit a bump And not to worry Instead I want to say That I can't live this way But I love her too much to let her go I love her too much to let her go (Let me say it again) I love her too much to let it go

about

An experimental indie pop music project created by Thomas Knight and Kyle Chambless in 2006.

As best friends in high school, Thomas and Kyle attempted to write a concept album set within a fictional world, in which a boy named Fidd and his best friend, a laughing daffodil, embarked on a quest to restore harmony to the land. They met a host of characters along the way including White Ox-Man, the princess of the woods, Yonfen's magical mandolin, a three-headed horse, and an unstable tyrannical ruler called Snow King.

Much of the content emerged through collaborative stream-of-consciousness writing sessions between Chambless and Knight, sometimes utilizing rough sketches of characters and landscapes, made-up words, and listening to reversed audio tracks for inspiration. However, several other songs were also written that were not part of the lore. The duo often recruited Thomas' cousin, Jesse Sierra, to play bass during live performances, as the setlists were comprised of stripped down versions of Sillesh songs and improvised jams.

Sometime in 2009, Kyle decided to leave the project and Thomas began looking into writing music electronically.
